The two questions you need to answer are:
Outline your plans for your production including:
How you intend to use Media Language to target your intended audience
How you intend to use Media Representations that are appropriate to your intended audience
Since my audience are intended to be 10-13 years old, I will use various bright colours to attract attention from my target market. I will put pictures of newer consoles on the front to receive attention from children who own the consoles, this will make my target audience more interested, then more people will want to buy since they are interested and want to read it. This magazine will be people who enjoy playing video games, people who want to learn facts and information about video games. My magazine will also include tutorials on video games, so people will want to read more, my font will be large on the front cover so my target audience will be intrigued, because children like more exciting and colourful fonts compared to bland and boring small fonts. I will use close up shots in my images to make them stand out more to the reader, because children are more likely to buy my magazine if pictures are bigger and take up more of the page.
My camera work of my magazine will be mostly closeup to make them "pop out" off of the page. My magazine will include a lot of images as children like looking more than reading, these images will consist of famous video game designers/creators, video games that most children who are in possession of a video game console play. I will also include news and information of famous people who create/play video games to appeal to those that know who these people are and are interested to learn more.

NEA Part 6 - Product Profile
Learning Objectives:
- K: the importance of sketches and planning in the decision making process of creating a magazine.
- U: how to use sketches to influence your stylistic decisions.
- BAT: undertake a creative task in which you start the decision making process in terms of style of your magazine.
In this task I will be preparing and creating sketches that should mirror what I want to do with my production. I believe sketching is important because it allows me to make a draft, so I can roughly see what my magazine will end up looking like.

Inspiration:
![See the source image](https://tse3.mm.bing.net/th?id=OIP.mu6a-UXW4gX94Ib_pkbAjgHaJf&pid=Api)
I have chosen this type of educational magazine because I am better at it than any other options for an educational magazine that I could of chosen.
In my magazine I shall "educate" people about video games.
What is intertextuality?
Intertextuality is the shaping of a text's meaning by another text.
So, why do media texts use intertextuality?
In order to make a reference to other famous films/movies to boost ratings.
Now... Can you find two examples of media texts (pictures for magazines/websites, footage for music video) and explain why it is important for media producers to embrace this concept?

Family guy used intertextuality in one of their episodes, when they made a parody of star wars, it is important to embrace this concept because people who watch star wars will become interested in family guy aswell.
